At RacingComposites, we are dedicated to delivering products of the highest quality. Every piece we create is crafted with care and precision to meet our exacting standards. However, due to the nature of manufacturing carbon fiber parts—particularly large or complex components—minor imperfections may occasionally arise.
These imperfections, such as small air bubbles, swirls, slight waves, drips, or minor nicks, are often unnoticeable and do not affect the product’s overall performance or appearance. While we strive to minimize these inconsistencies, they can sometimes occur due to the intricacies of carbon fiber fabrication. Rest assured, we only ship products that meet our rigorous quality control checks and are deemed suitable for show-quality presentation. We never sell unfinished or subpar products.
Chargebacks & Disputes
Chargebacks filed with dishonest claims will be treated as theft and pursued in small claims court in the customer’s state of residence by RacingComposites LLC, with legal action handled by our designated team. Disputed charges may include but are not limited to: falsifying product quality issues, fraudulent delivery claims, damage due to improper use, misrepresenting product descriptions, or unauthorized purchases. Chargebacks filed for credit card fraud (such as those from stolen information) will be processed promptly, and customers will be refunded in full.
Order Delays and Cancellations
Many of our larger items are made to order in order to keep prices affordable for our customers. Some mid-sized parts are typically in stock, while smaller parts may be custom-made depending on their complexity. If you're concerned about delivery times, please reach out to us before placing your order. Lead times can vary from 1 to 90 days based on the part ordered, so feel free to confirm with us in advance.
Please note that cancellations are subject to a 25% fee of the total order value. Custom items, such as specialty-built steering wheels, may incur a cancellation fee of 50% due to the necessity of discarding or recycling them. If you are unsure about an item or its fitment, we encourage you to contact us first to confirm compatibility with your vehicle.
Cancellation Fees
If you wish to cancel an order, a cancellation fee of at least 9% will be applied immediately after the order is placed, regardless of whether it has been processed or prepared. This fee applies to any cancellation request, even if made immediately after placing the order. Our production process reserves a spot for each customer’s order, and cancellations can disrupt the workflow of our engineering department. For custom products, such as specialty steering wheels, cancellations will incur higher fees due to the customization required. Please be confident in your decision before placing your order to avoid any inconvenience.
Installation & Fitment
Carbon fiber parts are made from a different material than OEM components. While our parts are molded from OEM specifications, the nature of carbon fiber manufacturing may cause slight variations in hole positions, tabs, and other features. Installation may require minor adjustments, such as widening factory holes or making slight modifications to angles, depending on the vehicle model.
While we test fit all parts before shipping to ensure proper fitment, we advise that some adjustments may be necessary for vehicles with different sub-models. For instance, a trunk on an EcoBoost model might have slightly different mounting points for a spoiler compared to a GT500. In some cases, drilling new holes, sanding, or removing factory frames/panels may be required for the best fit.
We guarantee that most large parts (such as hoods or trunks) will have a panel gap of less than 1/3 inch. For interior parts, gaps of up to 3/8 inch may occur. Fitment is optimized for stock vehicles, so any modifications you’ve made to your car (engine bay, fenders, bumpers, etc.) are your responsibility to address during installation.
Damaged Items
Please inspect your parts thoroughly upon delivery. If any damage occurs during shipment or if a part arrives damaged, it must be reported to us within 24 hours of receiving the product. We are unable to process replacement claims for any damage reported after this period. For your protection, we recommend you inspect all items as soon as they arrive. If you are not present during delivery, please ensure someone is there to check for potential damage.
Proposition 65 Warning
In accordance with California Proposition 65, please be advised that some of our products may expose you to chemicals such as Styrene (which is known to the state of California to cause cancer) and Bisphenol A (which is known to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm). Legal Responsibility
All RacingComposites products are sold under the assumption that the user is responsible for complying with local laws. We are not liable for any injuries, modifications, or issues arising from the use of our products. The functionality and use of the parts are solely the responsibility of the user. If you’re modifying components such as airbag decorations or lightweight hoods, we recommend securing them with hood pins for added safety.
